I would like to thank all the volunteers with a special shout out to Nate Corona and Julia Scheeler who put in many hours fighting like great hockey players to keep the ice alive up here. The fact is, we have received a whole winter’s snowfall in just a few weeks and the rink is covered meters deep in snow. We got five amazing games in, none the less, due to the valient efforts put forth by all who helped keep Skytavern hockey alive through multiple blizzards. I removed the signs yesterday and have made the decision to pull the plug officially with another onslaught of snow headed our way. Better luck next year I say! Thanks to all who helped out.
