Anticipating a nice turn out for our premiere Wild Women’s Wednesday, Olivia Boudette, a hockey coach from Michigan kindly volunteered to provide women with some powerskating and hockey skill exercises free of charge to help women up their game last night.

The only problem is. No one showed. On a perfectly still night with good ice and stars overhead, no one showed. I don’t know what to make of it. We will try one more week and then dump the women’s hockey night if we get another no show experience. Is it Omicron, Reno Ice Conflict or what? Super disheartening after all the work on the rink. Hopefully tonight’s open game goes better.
